3rd Corneal Transplantation and Eye Banking Course
February 12–15, 2026, Istanbul, Türkiye

Dear Colleagues,

In collaboration with the International Transplant
Network®️ (ITN) and the Turkish Ophthalmological
Association (TOA), the 3rd Corneal Transplantation
and Eye Banking Course will be held in Istanbul from
February 12-15, 2026 by Turkish Transplant Foundation.

This comprehensive training program has been
accredited by UEMS (European Union of Medical
Specialists) with 21.0 European CME credits
(ECMEC®️s) and is also endorsed by the EEBA
(European Eye Bank Association).
The course aims to provide proficiency in basic and
advanced corneal transplantation terminology,
clinical aspects (from donor and recipient selection
to surgical management), and the diagnosis and
current management of complications.
This training program also provides comprehensive
information on the general overview of Eye Banking
and changes participants’ perspective through visits
to reference eye banks.

The course offers a rich methodology including
theoretical lectures, interactive learning, wet-lab,
dry-lab, hands-on surgeries, live surgery broadcasts,
and site visits. Participants will also have the opportunity
to discuss challenging cases with national and
international faculty experts in the field.

The course language is English.
